Il cartone è un materiale che in questo periodo sta ispirando sempre più designer.
Lo studio inglese Lazerian propone così una nuova linea di mobili composti di una poltrona e di un canapè articolata grazie ai triangoli multipli cartonati. Presentati all’ Interiors 2010 salone di Birmingham, Honeycomb è il frutto della collaborazione di Liam Hopkins e dell’artista Richard Sweeney.
Quello che può sembrare un materiale povero per qualcuno agli occhi di chi è dotato di creatività può diventare un materiale ricercato e raffinato, che tra le sue mani prende forma fino a diventare un’opera d’arredo.
